Javanese Chicken in Coconut Milk


1 chicken, cut into 16 parts

4 lime leaves

2 bay leaves

2 lemongrass, crushed

1/2 tbsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper powder

1000 ml of coconut milk from 1 coconut

2 tsp cooking oil


Ground spices :

8 cloves of red onion

4 cloves of garlic

5 grains of candlenut

2 cm ginger

1/4 tsp cumin

5 cm turmeric, burn

1 tsp coriander



How to make :

1. Heat the oil, saute ground spices, lime leaves, bay leaves, and lemongrass.

2. Put the chicken. Stir until it changes color.

3. Add salt and pepper. Stir well.

4. Pour the coconut milk slightly.

5. Cook while stirring until cooked and slightly thick.
